         Hi everyone as you know we were suppose to have the Halloween parade here in Womelsdorf yesterday but the rain did not stop in time to have the parade. We had our float ready and everything and I am sure alot of other people were just as disapointed as we were to get the news. I spent the whole day bumed yesterday. They did not even come up with a rain date well i hope they still have it next year. Well i guess I can give you more updates tommarow.

           Wow i can't belive it is the 13th of October already. It is soon time to say HAPPY HALLOWEEN toevery one you know. Don't forget to look for us this Thursday night in the Womelsdorf Halloween parade starting at 6:30 p.m. we will be throwing candy out and have our van and trailer decorated as .....well I guess you will have to come and see for yourself it will be alot of fun I mean loads of fun. Here at the shop making the float is not the only way Fegley' s is preparing for Halloween. We also have some really neat talking and singing plush animals and some just regular plush. They are really neat !!!  Also we have our pumpkins here and cornshocks and oh ya we also have some gourds for decorating. Oh can't forget to tell you we have half doz. roses for only $ 6.99 so if you need some you better act quickly well I really hope to get to see you all and also to say

That time is coming!  Halloween is just around the corner.  Look for Fegley's Flowers in Womelsdorfs Halloween Parade on October 15th.  October brings many new treats to our little flower shop.  Currently offering the best mum deal in town 8" mums are only $3.50 each and still in tight bud to last.  Fall decorations arriving daily...Indian corn, Corn stalks, straw, Majestic pumpkins(thats the little ones), really nice and big face pumpkins and only $5 at that.  Mini Indian corn, gourds and more.  Stop by our shop any of our partners, Rissers Restaraunt, Spring Valley Fitness, Raub's Twin Kiss, Womelsdorf M&T Bank and pick up the current issue of "The Flower Shop Buzz"  our own little newsletter bringing interesting facts and current events to you.  Inside you will find some great coupons including one for a chance to win some gift certificates.  We are giving away a giant pumpkin, Hubbard Squash, this month too.  There is another reason why we are giving some things away this month.  It happens to be our one year anniversary!  In these economic times we have seen more flowers shops close this August than have ever closed before.  That is why we apprecaite the support our community has shown us.  We are small but always looking for better ways to serve you.  Just a few things to look for in the upcoming months...Poinsettias, hospitality flags, Bonsai, our green house ready and under plastic, potting soil, fertiizers, a bigger selection of indoor plants, including herbs, Breininger Pottery and more!  There is one bigger item in the works too.  I'll let you in on a secret...we have been experimenting this season with property maintenance.  We have mowed some lawns, installed and maintained some landscapes including stone work.  I have personally done this kind of work privately since I first worked for Stoudt's Landscaping in 1982.  I expect and maintain a high level of quality from my crew and will provide you with a superior level of products and services that you will recognize from the first time we do work for you.  Check back to our website often for details.  Ok, I have rambled on and off far too long my daughter is going to be upset that I jumped in her seat and wrote this last entry.  Katie is terrific and quite ambitous for a 12 year old.  Please take a moment and read her newsletter and check back often to the blog for her updates.  You'll be glad you did.  I would like to leave you with this quote I recently came across..."If you aren't living your life with deliberate purpose then someone or something is doing it for you."  Don't let time pass you by without doing what you have such a passion for, life is to short and too valuable.  Oh and eat desert first, life is uncertain.  LOL  Thanks for listening and God bless.       It is now back to school time and we are prepareing for the busy fall holidays  with mums and new Halloween atractions around the store.We also just got some new herbs in so if any body wants to you can come in today to check them out, but hurry there  going fast. Herbs are only $1.25 each for a 4 in. pot. The mums will be available after the labor day weekend.
